This picture was taken in Armenian Street, Georgetown, Penang. Judging by the vivid colour of the picture, it seems that the picture had just been painted. They are restoring shophouses on that road but it seems they may have wanted to keep some of the wooden windows around instead of changing them all to plain tinted aluminum windows.
